	Ryohei was born in Namimori, Japan to two loving parents, though, sadly, Namimori was slowly becoming overrun with Dark Magic and, as a result, his parents were forced to relocate to London. Because of this, Ryohei not only learned English (and Japanese, too), but was put on the Hogwarts list instead of the original Japanese school of magic. From a very young age, Ryohei would often (unknowingly) flaunt his magical skills, sending everything flying and laughing happily when vases crashed and objects of great sentimental value were ruined forever. His parents, not so pleased. When Ryohei was one, his parents gave birth to a second child, Kyoko, Ryohei’s little sister. Ryohei was immediately taken to her and the pair became very close. The little family was happy and secure in London. Sadly, this happiness couldn’t go on forever, now could it? When Ryohei was eleven, he lashed out against rogue wannabe Dark Wizards after they threatened his sister, and after wiping the floor with the poor boy (and leaving him a scar on his temple to remind him of it), they very nearly attacked their house. Terrified for their children, the Sasagawas were again forced to relocate just in case. However, it never brings either Ryohei or Kyoko down, and they continued into their Hogwarts years with unrivaled optimism. Besides all that, however, the Sasagawas are relatively low on the danger totem pole nowadays and feel secure enough that they won’t have to move again. Nothing else, indeed, has happened since that unfortunate incident years ago. As far as Hogwarts goes, Ryohei mostly excels in Defense Against the Dark Arts (being brash and unafraid to be the test dummy for new spells—boy just won’t learn that pure will alone can’t really stop a Stupefy curse) and Transfiguration. His other classes, not so much. While Ryohei is certainly intelligent enough to get at least E’s, he lacks the patience to sit down and actually do the work, and prefers hands-on activities. He's very enthusiastic about Quidditch as well.

Despite his small stature, Ryohei is… extreme. Everything about Ryohei can be summed up in that one simple word. Ryohei is fierce, protective, a right ray of energetic sunshine, optimistic, persistent, determined about everything, and, of course, EXTREME, what else? Ryohei is hot-headed and often known for rushing into things without fully thinking them through, and will forget important details well into his adult life. However, the one thing that cannot be denied about Ryohei is that, for all his brash confidence, he can be very sensible about certain things. Ryohei knows how people work, if it has to do with fighting, and he might even do it subconsciously. The most important thing in Ryohei's life is his little sister, and he'd do just about anything for her, proving that he can be a very responsible and caring person when he wants to be.

[The Good] Rin Kagamine [4th Year Hufflepuff] Ryohei's girlfriend. (?) While at first it seemed like they might get off to a bad start, Ryohei somehow managed, in pure Ryohei fashion, to turn it around and they seem to slowly be forming a weird (but really adorable) friendship. Because Rin is about to enter her first year at Hogwarts after having been home-schooled, he's been busy convincing her that Hogwarts is an EXTREME place and that it won't be that bad at all. He taught her over the summer how to ride a broom and somewhat how to play Quidditch. They've formed a sort of strange sibling relationship. It's mostly likely because Rin reminds Ryohei subconsciously of Kyoko. And he got her to laugh, too! Like? What do you mean by that, Kaoru???? Somehow he unwittingly asked her out on a date. A date. RYOHEI. WHAT EVEN. SARA YOU ASSHOLE. Kaoru Hitachiin [5th Year Gryffindor] Ryohei's dorm mate and probably closest friend. Kaoru loves tormenting Ryohei one moment and then acting like his friend the next. Ryohei, despite having known Kaoru since they came to the school, still has no idea what to make of him. But they've been arguing quite a bit lately. The one thing binding them together as friends is the fact that the most important people in their lives--their siblings--are not at Hogwarts with them. Kaoru's nickname for him: Fucking Moron. Toshiro Hitsugaya [5th Year Ravenclaw] They've gotten off to quite a rocky start, but they're in the same year, have similar character traits and might be able to smooth out their differences in school. Their relationship is a weird one, consisting of lots of yelling and Ryohei-logic. ~~Plus Toshiro is pretty convinced that Ryohei's probably an idiot.~~ However, they're forming a grudging sort of friendship. Risa Koizumi [5th Year Gryffindor] Risa is one of the few people whom Ryohei has not aggravated/annoyed/angered/any other synonym. She's a fun girl, a bit of a spazz, and Ryohei does consider her to be a friend. Mulan Fa [5th Year Gryffindor] Fellow fifth year Gryffindor. She's an extremely nice person and Ryohei likes her. She's fun. Chie Satanoka [6th Year Gryffindor] An EXTREME running partner and a really extreme person in general! Alfred F. Jones [6th Year Gryffindor] Another Gryffindor. He's the Captain of the Quidditch team, so Ryohei has a lot of respect for him. Also, Ryohei's a bit curious as to what the 'F' stands for. Taiga Aisaka [5th Year Gryffindor] His partner in the commentator's box. Their relationship is... abusive. She tried to punt his kneecaps off once. But since their first match (in which they teamed up and tried to set the opposing team's brooms on fire) they've been on good terms. [The Bad] Hiyori Sarugaki [5th Year Slytherin] They got into a extreme shouting match and school is not going to be pretty. Both are convinced that they could easily beat the other in any kind of challenge. Saralegui "Sara" Sargon [6th Year Slytherin] SARA. WHAT. DID. YOU. DO.

note: "kyokugen" is Japanese for "extreme". Ryohei says it all the time.
